EM Museum Shop

The Eagles Mere Museum Shop is located in a national historic town also known as “The Town That Time Forgot”. Unlike other museum shops we actually occupy what was the original Eagles Mere General Store of R.D Kehrer & Son. The store was built in the late 1880’s and was 16 feet wide and 30 feet long. Some of the original shelves now display items, both old and new. You can find antique postcards for sale once sold in some of the original hotels in Eagles Mere, as well as books about our history, both fiction and non-fiction, unique souvenir items including t-shirts, local artist prints of the area, and an ever changing limited quantity of specialty items from our collections. So take all the time you want and walk through our shop with its original tin ceiling and enjoy our museum. On your way out be sure to pick-up a special memory from the Eagles Mere Museum Shop or purchase one from our online store. Rest assured, you can pay securely using either your PayPal account or major credit card.

2012 Limited Edition Inkwell

Did you know Eagles Mere once had four schools in addition to the one started by George Lewis during the glassworks day? This year the shop is commemorating our new addition to the village courtyard, the Laporte Ave. schoolhouse bell, donated by the Kennedy family, with limited edition green glass inkwells. The glass was hand blown in Jamestown, VA using fragments of green glass from that area to properly color and compose a replica of an old ink well. This will be the shops first edition of glassware related to our Eagles Mere history. There are only 12 green inkwells for sale, so stop in and take a look or order yours online now for $20.

Original Lewis Glass Pendants

These original to Eagles Mere glass pendants are wrapped with silver wire. They vary by color, shape, and size. Each one is very unique. They are one of a kind pieces. We have a limited number of them available at $45 each.
